University of Miami Green Buildings Website Redesign
Full Redesign (Web & Mobile) & Centennial Village Virtual Tour
As part of a semester-long group project, I collaborated with two classmates to redesign the University of Miami’s Green Buildings website. The original site had major usability challenges, including inconsistent UI, poor mobile responsiveness, and inaccessible design. We conducted user research, performed a competitive analysis, and restructured the site’s information architecture to create a more intuitive and visually cohesive experience.
Our deliverables included a redesigned 9-page web and mobile experience, a custom component library, and a fully interactive virtual tour of Centennial Village. We focused on aligning the design with university branding, improving accessibility (WCAG compliance), and creating a sustainable aesthetic through thoughtful use of color, layout, and interaction design.
Our redesign was selected as the winning submission in a class-wide competition, and the university is now moving forward with implementing our version of the site and virtual tour.
